I was able to interview a friend who is serving with her family as a missionary in a country that is hostile toward Christians.  Love for Jesus and the good news He offers motivates them to keep serving in their community.

Kathy has endured the loss of a spouse, moves across the country, and years of cancer treatment and yet she can find joy.  She knows how this life is temporary but the love of her Father is eternal. 

 

This episode was quite different for me as I sat down to be interviewed by my husband, Phil Baker.   From my salvation story, to college, to various jobs and the wonderful people He brought into my life...I have seen His faithfulness all along the way.

Amber is a friend I have known for over 20 years and I am so proud of the woman she has become.  She has overcome unthinkable loss at such a young age, but she has grown and discovered her identity in Christ in a powerful way.

Cathy is an amazing woman who has dealt with immense lost.  Most recently this includes the death of her youngest son on his birthday.  She shares about how her grief is still very present, but she still has hope and joy because of the faithfulness of God.
